VAU Thermotech GmbH & Co. KG is an independent and owner-managed company. At the Heldrungen / Thuringia site, fully welded plate heat exchangers are produced for the chemical, petrochemical, sugar, food and pharmaceutical industries. In addition, brazed plate heat exchangers are produced as standard on fully automatic production lines. As one of the few German specialists in plate heat exchangers, we master the project business with custom-made products and high-end solutions.

The traditional metal company, which was formerly known as VAU Werkzeug- und Gerätebau GmbH & Co. KG since 1977, learned a complete realignment in 2008 as plate heat exchanger company. Decades of expertise in this specialized area found its way in VAU Thermotech GmbH & Co. KG. The steady increase reached the climax in 2013 with the new building in Heldrungen / Thuringia. Administration and production facilities are located under one roof and provide sufficient space for the new machinery.

Several Million of euros were invested mainly in a press and Automation plant for heat exchanger plates. From stainless steel fo the final heat exchanger plate - this fully automated production line is the heart of the factory builing. It was also invested in sheet metal working machinery and Equipment for the common welding to meet the high demands of VAU Thermotech.

Drawing on technology-, market- and management experience in large-scale industry since 1981, Osama Nasser knows the industry’s needs: “It is my idea to be a continous contact to our customers starting at the development of dedicated heat exchangers up to the final quality control.” Being one of only three German manufacturers for plate heat exchangers, we have the infrastructure, qualified employees and the proficiency to develop and fabricate solutions here independently.”
